Honor is relatively new in the mobile industry. But as new as they may be, the brand is already making a significant impact by producing high-end gaming devices such as the Honor 50. In this article, I will expound on the notable features of the phone and give you my honest analysis on whether they’re worth your while or not. So without any further delays, let’s begin…

Honor 50: Design and Built-Quality

Honor 50 has a stunning glass OLED screen and 1B colors that emits a clear and vibrant HD display. The screen size is 6.57 inches/106 cm2 which is about 89.7% screen-to-body ratio. And if you’re not a fan of the traditional teardrop front-facing camera, you’d be happy to know that it uses the dot camera instead, which utilizes every corner of the screen.

The back cover of the phone is made of a plastic frame that’s reinforced by the glass. Although it isn’t as impressive compared to the structure of other mid-range phones, it is nevertheless reliable enough to secure its internal parts in events of accidental drops or water splash.

Honor 50: Hardware and Performance

The Honor 50 model is a powerful device for both productivity and leisure. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm SM7325 Snapdragon chipset technology, Octa-core Kyro 670 CPU, and Adreno 642L GPU. What this means is that they fit the modern standards for flagship mobile devices, and they are more than capable of providing you with your technological needs.

The only disadvantage of the Honor 50, in my opinion, is you can’t expand the memory storage of the device. Aside from the variety of colors, you also have to plan for the storage size. And you have to bear in mind that the price of the phone varies depending on memory capacity. Therefore, you have to carefully select the phone you need by conforming them to the budget you currently have as well.

Honor 50: Battery Life

Honor’s flagship smart mobile boasts a non-removable Li-Po 4300 mAh, which should give you about 10 hours of power. However, the figure is just a rough estimate, and the battery life would entirely rely on the usage. For example, it would significantly drop to 6 to 7 hours for online gaming purposes. In any case, such a feature is typical for many mid-range phones in the market. And overall, I still believe the Honor 50 is still worth your while just by referring to the battery life alone.

Honor 50: Price and Availability

As mentioned, the Honor 50 comes in two memory-size varieties aside from the color scheme of the device—the 128GB version and the 256GB version. The retail price of the Honor 50 128GB version is $475, while the 256GB model is $516.

If you’re interested in buying an Honor 50, you can avail them at any concept store or official distributors near you. However, if none are available, you can always visit their official website and check the honor 50 mobile price and buy it online instead. You can also check if there are additional promos you can use to boost your savings.

Our Verdict: Value for Money

Overall, the Honor 50 is definitely a bang for your buck. Although the devices’ cover isn’t as premium looking, it is still stunningly in its own right and has the capabilities to rival high-end flagship mobile phones. I highly recommend Honor’s flagship phone if what you’re after is an all-in-one device that can accompany you for both work and play.
